The Princess

This photo was taken at the Rogers Daffodil Princess Correlation. The winner of the event was Sarah Piek, escorted by Casey Lockey. This photo turned out better than most of the other photos I took because the lighting was perfect, along with their smiles. The assignment required the picture to not be posed. With the students looking at the crowd, away from the camera, I accomplished this task.

Good picture. All the colors go well with each other. You did good filling the frame and getting everything in focus.

This photo is looks ok due to the fact that the couple is centered nicely. The lighting is alright too, but there are a lot of mergers going on. The left side of the guy’s suit blends in way too much with the background, it looks as if he only has one arm. Also, the couple’s hair blends in a little too. Good job though.

Taking a picture of people is a difficult task. I really admire the dark star like background, and the darkness of it. But, at times I feel like it’s too dark. The blazer on the boy seems blended in with the background and it seems like he doesn’t have an arm. Also he seems red in the face. Other than that, amazing photo.

I don’t like how dark this picture is. Both Sarah Pieks and Casey Lockeys formal outfits blend in with the background. It really makes their skin pop out.

The people in this picture make me feel happy. You did a really good job with the lighting if this photo was taken in an auditorium because I know the lighting can be bad there. I also like how you got right up in there face to capture the moment of happiness and the awards. The only thing that I don’t like is that Sarah’s flowers aren’t all the way in the picture. But other than that it is a great photo!

I like the people in this picture, they look so happy! The color that really stands out is the yellow in the flowers. I like how both people are wearing black and white then the flowers make the picture pop. The mood in this picture seems really happy.
