I took this photo as part of my extreme macro assignment. This is not me cooking crack. I Don’t Do Drugs!! I am a clean cut kid, in fact this is just a borax bead being made in my friends Chemistry class. I like the overall look of this photo and only had to crop and use levels to make this look prime. I also used the burn tool around the edge for a darker edge. I was in actuality that close to the flame (kind of scary) so this was a real macro shot and not just cropped it close up.

I love how bright the flames are in this picture. It’s cool how the chemicals are bubbling and that you were able to capture that.
