I took this photo for our commercial photography assignment. I wanted the photo to have a college theme going on. I didn’t show her face because I wanted the main focus to be on Starbucks and have your eye go directly to the cup. I am happy about the photo; the only problem that I see with the photo is the exposure. I felt with this assignment that I had a ton of ideas to work off of and that was really nice.

I like how it’s a portrait picture but you can’t see the whole person because it’s something you don’t see too often. I also like how you put that person in a natural habitat. The picture makes sense, since the person is studying, they would need coffee to wake themselves up and concentrate.

I really like how professional this photo looks. It looks like it should be in a magazine or on a billboard or something. It reflects a mood of relaxation.
