Hotel Motel

You know, I just really tried to capture the raw emotion and feel of “old” Seattle. I really wanted to make this photo look like it was taken in the old days so I converted it to grey scale and turned up the contrast and such. I am pretty happy with the results! The only thing I wish I could have done was stay and shoot in Seattle longer. #swag!

This is a really cool picture, I love the feel of it. It definitely looks like an old time photo. I love the angle this was taken from and the focus. This is a really nice picture, and you did a really good job!

I really like this picture; I like how you chose to put this picture in black and white. This picture has an old rustic look, and it gives the picture and interesting twist. I like the clouds in the background. This is a great picture!

This photo seems like it was used in an old magazine based on the black and white tint o it, and how the old building was captured. I like how the angle of this shot was used to capture the full name of the hotel, while getting the whole depth and length of the side of it. The sky is cloudy, which added an eerie felling to my emotion. It is also using rule of thirds with the side of the hotel being off to the side. Overall, I really liked this photo and the emotion that it portrays!

Awesome shot. Exposure is as good as it can get without clipping the sky. As it seems you are going for a vintage/antique look I would suggest increasing the clarity to really emphasize the brick of the building. Focus is sharp where it needs to be and there are no distracting elements in the photo. Personally I think the tree and pole on the right add to the photo rather than distract viewers from the subject.
