Never Ending

I took this photo for the December theme assignment. I went to the downtown Puyallup train tracks. It wasn’t a challenging picture to take, except for when the train came. I got down to a little bit above ground level to take it. My shutter speed was 1/400 and my aperture was 4.5.

Great idea for a picture. Good use of rule of thirds with the railroad tracks. I like depth of field too. The tracks seem to keep going. I like how the sun is shinning on one part but then the other half is in shadows.

The perspective on this photo is cool. I like that it has a warmer tone, but is not yellow. Good job using depth of field also.

I like how the tracts lead into the photo. The photo just needs to be a bit more in focuses somewhere.

The angle is simple but amazing at the same time! It adds a lot of depth, like you can see a never ending road. The lighting makes it look like this was taken at sunset, I guess. VD-ERHS

I like this photo because of the everlasting railroad. The element of composition, lines, is used nicely. The lighting is nice and the photo reminds me of driving over the railroad in the summer.

I like how this photo shows the entire length of the train tracks and how it gradually gets less clear. Depths of field, vertical and horizontal lines are used in this photo. The lighting looks great too because the sun is just barely shining on the tracks. This photo reflects a mood of calmness and tranquility.

The lighting for this picture is right on. I love how it looks like the railroad really just goes on forever. The focus is great too.

The leading lines in this photo are very well done, but I think that my favorite part is the color. It almost has a glowing look to it; it's warm, but it's not too bright. It seems very true to the time of day. I also think that the title of the picture is really cool :)

I love the warm feeling that this photo creates. It gives the feel of a small town, where everything is simple. Great job! Nice leading line.

I find this picture very interesting. I like the angle at which it was taken. This is a good use of depth of field. The lighting is good and lights of the tracks.

You had a very nice use of leading lines. It almost makes the railroad seem never ending. It symbolized an on going journey, such as life. Good job!

I really enjoy this photo as a whole. I love linear photos and this completely captures that image with the railroad track leading your eye down. I like how you off centered it so you can also see the side of the track leading your eye down. The shadows are used well and the trees is the background adds great contrast to the tracks. I would not change a thing about this photo it is great. Good Job.

The golden hue in this picture is my favorite. I like the use of lines and shadows that follow it. The perspective is very interesting as well.
