Frozen Beauty

Photo by: Thalia Chavez Over the week of frozen streets and broke trees, there were also beautiful frozen scenery. I got close and personal to some of the flowers that were frozen solid. I grabbed my camera because I knew I wouldn’t get another chance to get a picture this beautiful.

I really like the colors in the picture. The flowers look really cool that they are frozen over. I really like how close that you go to the flowers, it makes it all the more interesting.

Beautiful colors and awesome subject! The editing on this is very nice too, not overdone. Would have maybe left less empty space at the top and right but it's still a very pretty photo.

I think this is a beautiful picture! I love how the flowers still have their color while the rest is black and white. Depth of field is done very well making the two flowers stand out even better. I would definitely hang this on my wall!

Nice shot. The focal point is a little unclear though. At first the left flowers seem like the focal point but the sharpest point of focus is actually the frozen drop on the right side. Other than that the contrast is nice as well as the exposure. Good shot!
