Going in Circles

I took this photo for my photo skills review when I went to the fair with my family. I’ve always been mesmerized by the swing ride, I like how antique-like it looks. My favorite part about the photo is the people since its candid. They’re all doing something different, it shows personality, making this photo feel more real. I think it captures the fun, whimsical aspect of the fair.

Great- it looks like something I would see in an announcement for the fair- or any professinal publication for that matter :) Awesome!

What I like about this picture is how you were able to capture the ride without anything being blurry. This reminds me of times at the fair as a little kid riding this with my family. This is a good picture that brings back memorable memories.

This is a well captured photo, it shows each moving subject very clearly. It would be a great advertisment for the fair! I love the overall aspect of this photo.

Nice shot. The exposure is nicely balanced between the sky and the ride and the colors are soft. Rule of thirds is slightly applied and the angle of the shot emphasizes the thrill of the ride (height). Personally I would have used a wide angle lens to include more and improve the framing, but that might not have been an option for you. Good job though.
