tried to get a picture of my dog staring at the tennis ball because she
normally sits still and looks at the ball waiting for me to throw it. So I
thought it would make a really neat small depth of field photo. It didn’t turn
out as great as I expected it to be. However, if I took it in a different
environment it would turn out better.

This photo is okay. I wish that is was in reverse and that the ball was in focus, not the dog. Other than that, the lighting is good, there is a focal point, and the color work together well.
