Shimmering Mist

Photo by: Justin Balas This photo was taken by reversing my lens. I was out in my yard one soggy Sunday morning when I came across a baby rose stem covered in dew. I tried sharpening my macro photography technique, and the result was this magnificent photo! I like the light through the center dew drop because it adds an essence of serenity.

I really like this picture and how focused the dew is on the stem. The lighting is good and the mood is peaceful. I like the framing and how the photo becomes more focused towards the middle. I also like how the depth of field is shallow and the color range is limited.

This is an awesome photo! Raindrops always add a cool look to a photo. I like how close you got, creates a greater effect on the photo when you capture such good detail. I also like the coloring in this photo. The green is nicely saturated and there is a good amount of contrast. The mood of this photo is great because it makes me happy to see a picture like this! I could totally see this photo hanging on my wall or something.

This picture is very interesting. I like the little droplets of water on the object. It gives a little more taste to the photo. I like the color tones also. The colors blend right in and makes the picture look amazing.

I like this photograph a lot because of the depth of field and the lighting. I wish it could’ve been a little bit more focused but nonetheless, it is still very good. The drops are very cool, good job!

This picture is really cool, and I like how close up this picture is. The individual droplets look really cool.
