Before a storm

This photo took me awhile, the sun was blaring and of course these flowers have to planted in the front yard. My camera was just not working with all the light that was illuminating around everything! So the next day I took this picture, and it was right before the rain started (good timing) and I really like the end result. I love how all the details of the flower are in focus, I think it’s a good single center of interest. Can’t believe I took this picture.

I attempted to take the same kind of picture with even the same flower just in a different color but failed. I too tried to take the picture in direst sunlight so I have to say you did I good job sticking with trying to capture the image. I like the depth of field and love up close pictures. The flower is in almost perfect focus and I think that is what makes the picture.

I really don’t like this picture. The cars in the background could have been cropped out. They throw off the whole picture. The only thing I really like about this picture is how you got him in action.

I love this photo. I like the way you focused on the flower with a fuzzy background. Great depth of field.

I love your choosing of the focal point, effectively directing the viewer to the top portion of the first flower. Nice choice of aperture and the exposure is nice. Contrast and color are spot on. Nice job!
