This photo was taken for a macro assignment. We were asked to find an interesting macro photo on the internet then try to recreate the photo. The photo I found was an up-close picture of a cat, where the eye was in focus. I tried my best to recreate the photo with my own cat; witch was actually not as hard as I thought it was going to be because my cat was being a little model for me

I love this! The color of the cat’s eye really pops. It’s such an interesting photo, people don’t really just look for awhile at cat’s eyes, but this picture makes you do that. Really cool idea! The lighting is light, but not too bright. The dark background is perfect for how light the cat’s face is.
The mood is happy, I don’t normally like cats but this one is so sweet and a perfect model.
Personally I really like this picture. It’s amazing how you got the cat’s eye in perfect focus with it being a moving and living animal. The only thing that I do not like about the picture is I feel like the lighting is to bright. The upper part of the cat seems to be washed out and with not to much detail while still in focus. Over all I think the picture turned out really good though.

I love cats, so this photo caught my attention. You definitely hit rule of thirds well, but the eye is more in the middle. There is lots of light which is very good. I would love to know how you got your cat t sit still for you to take this picture!
The focus in this picture is so sharp that you can see the individual hairs on the cat, but some of the impact of this effect is taken away by how bright the photo is. I wish that more of the dark background had been visible to give more contrast and bring out the dark spots on the cat. Overall this picture captures the cat very nicely.
