Green Hopper

With this photograph it was really hard to capture the cricket perfect. I was following this little bugger up a tree while trying to take a macro photo without trying to loose it. It was jumping from branch to branch and finally I got a good shot. The setting I had used was ISO 400, f 5.6, and a shutter speed of 1/125. I found these to be the best setting due to the bright sun out.

I like the colors in this photo, no outstanding ones that don’t blend in with the grasshopper. The only thing I would suggest you did, was try to not capture that part of the tree that isn’t in focus, I think it would have been better to see the whole grasshopper. Overall, great photo and nice job getting this picture.

This is an amazing photo. The resolution and clarity is amazing. I love the contrast of greens and browns. I really like the angle and how the plants in front are out of focus. This looks like something out of National Geographic. Very nice.

I like this picture a lot. I understand how hard it is tio take a picture of an animal/insect.

This picture is nicely done. The grasshopper is in pretty good focus, and the depth of field makes it very dominant in the picture. The colors are appropriately bright as well.

Wow! Excellent close up shot. The green from the grasshopper works well with the background and doesn’t blend in too much. Although the green part on the bottom left is a little distracting. Overall, great job.

I really enjoy the intensity of this photo. The details of this photo. To be honest, I am scared of insects, and this makes me feel the fear as if the cricket was right in front of me. I love the focus and the blurred background, nicely done.

I really like how the colors in this photo go well together and how perfectly the grasshopper is just sitting there.

I really like this picture. It's cool how you were able to capture an insect, which is very difficult. The grasshopper is very detailed and colorful. Good job.

I'm really amazed that you were able to capture a cricket. Usually when you get close to them they jump away. It doesn't look edited at all and your settings seem perfect. The crispness and how clear it is makes it really capture the eye. You did a really good job!

I really like the coloring of this picture. I like how the the grasshopper and the twig are the only thing in focus. Good job.

I really love the colors of this photo, they aren't too overpowering and give the photo just enough "pop".
The focus is perfect and the photo is pretty sharp for the setting you have and the situation. The only suggestion would be to not have the little bit of plant that's out of focus to the left n the photo and to maybe bump up the aperture if you can to get all of the cricket in focus.

Very well done. Crickets are very hard to capture and you were able to do it and do it well. I like how you were very well focused on the cricket with everything else blurry! There probably could have been a little more light but the lighting was done well.
