Purple Haze

I took this picture on our class’s field trip to Seattle. We were walking around in Pike Place by a flower shop and this flower really stood out to me because it is my favorite color. I tried to make sure that just the flower was in focus. I brightened up the colors a little bit so it would stand out more and also darkened up the blacks.

I like this picture because of the lighting and color aspect of the flower. Also the depth into the flower's center and the lighting shining on the top of it. As well as the shading to a more darker background of the bottom of the rose.

The color of the rose is such a pretty p.urple and I love how the background is out of focus. Nice job using rule of thirds

This is a beautiful picture! Great use of rule of thirds, and the blurry background adds to the picture. The color of the flower is very vibrant and it almost looks like it is floating.

This photo is really pretty. I love the vibrant color of the flower. The blurred background really puts a focus on the flower alone. Good job!

I like how the color of the rose is bright purple and the background isn’t nearly as bright. The lighting in this picture is really good, nice and sunny. I like how you used rule of thirds with the rose it gives the picture more depth.

The lighting of the photograph was very good. Since there is good lighting on the petals of the flower there texture are different details of the photograph are shown. It had good values of light and dark. The photograph satisfies the rule of thirds since the flower is positioned to the left. The mood of the photograph is happy and excited because it is a reminder of summer and the warmth outside.

There are many things about this picture that makes it stand out and pop. First of all the depth of field really centers on the flower that is the clearest. Also, the lighting of the sun highlights the flower in a way that makes it show of every flattering detail. Lastly I love how you were able to get so close to the flower that you were able to capture the veins and every petal.

I enjoy the placement of the flower to the left of the frame. The color is also phenomenal, it is very bright and pops right out at you. The focus of the center of the rose is pretty great, as well as the shadowing the petals have made.

I love this picture, the flower is beautiful. I love the color and how flower goes off the page. I also like that the background is not in focus so that all the attention goes to the flower.

I like this photo a lot. I like that you got close up on this photo and that the foreground is in focus but the background is out of focus. Close up. The lighting is fine to me. I think you did a wonderful job on this photo.

I like this picture because the flower is the only thing in focus. This is a good use of rule of thirds. I think the lighting is good and the mood I get from the photo is a “springy” feeling.

The composition of this photo is very well done, following the rule of thirds and creating a defined focal point. I like your choice to blur the background bringing out the vibrant purple in the flower as well as the texture in the petals. It has a great depth of field and the lighting hits the petals really well. Overall, this photo is really effective and well done.
