By Your Side

I just wanted to get a nice photo of the dandelions that are growing all around my yard with spring here and all. All the photos I’ve seen of them are pretty boring, so I tried to get something a little different. It isn’t super interesting, but I like how this turned out anyway. Especially since it was super windy and the flower was moving a lot.
The settings were 1/125, f/2.0, with an ISO of 100.

Make a Wish

I was messing around with my camera and was trying out the reverse lens technique for my extreme macro photo. I was taking a picture of a dandelion and I think it turned out really cool. It got a really close up picture of it and I liked how it turned out. It was difficult to work with so I wish it was a little less grainy but I think the picture is cool looking.

Old School

I really enjoyed taking this picture. I’m not usually a fan of taking portrait photos but this was a joy. I like to use the candid aspect. I chose a brick background, and was a little skeptical about it at first, but in the end it made for a great contrast in my opinion. After all was said and done, I used bridge to set in some good contrast.
