A Day At The Beach

Photo by: Colby Barnette The sun just happened to be shining perfectly when I was working on taking slow shutter speed photos. Even though the beach was cold, it was worth it to see the beautiful work of God and to be able to capture it on camera. My settings were f/22, ISO 400, and 1/400.

I like the people standing in this picture; it really gives it a different meaning. This picture doesn’t really have a rule of thirds of a center focus. My eyes are drawn to the sun and the clouds and the people. The lighting is perfect. You can see where the sun lights up the water and how the people are more in the dark because of clouds. This photo makes me think of the summer and going to the beach and that makes me happy!

In this photo, I like how the sun gleams on the water and that the people are on the side so you can see them without the glare.

The element of composition that I think this photo has would be Rule of Thirds because the people are off to the side, and my eyes went to them first when I first looked at this photo.
