After the Rain

This was one of the few plants that was alive in a pot full of dying plants. After a whole 3-4 months of not being able to practice or take macro photos, I had a very difficult time trying to get a sharp focus on my subjects. It took me two days to get a little hang of it and ended up with this sharply focused drop on a leaf. I am quite proud of the outcome after all the hard work and struggle that I had prior.

I like the rain drops and the use of close up with texture to the pint you can see the shape and the reflection inside the rain drop if you look really close. I also like how the tone and dark background emphasis the leaf. To Improve the picture you can edited out the brown spot on tip the leaf.

The bright color and the rain drop

Rule of thirds

The main subject is in focus

I like the photo because of the drops

I love how the one large drop of water is in focus. You did a very good job with this photo. The color is good. You can kind of tell the mood in this picture. Depth of field is good. you didn’t use the rule of thirds though, but all in all good picture!

This picture is amazing. I love how in focus the biggest raindrop is and how you can see the texture of the leaf.

I like how the photo portrays a nature theme and the exact time that a water droplet was present.

The Element of Comp. used is focus. On how the photographer chose on what to focus on and how focused to be.

Exposure is used well because the vibrant color of the leaf and the perfect circle shape of the water droplet.

I feel a calming natural mood set off this photo through the natural water fall on the leaf.

I like how you focused in on the big raindrop, and although the other raindrops are visible they are blurred out. You used a good depth of field, and the color of the leaf is a good contrast against the background. Overall, nice shot!

I like how the drop is in really good focus. The depth of field is fantastic but not as much rule of thirds. The color of the leaf catches the viewers’ attention. I would have liked to see the is a different perspective. Overall good job!
