By Your Side

I just wanted to get a nice photo of the dandelions that are growing all around my yard with spring here and all. All the photos I’ve seen of them are pretty boring, so I tried to get something a little different. It isn’t super interesting, but I like how this turned out anyway. Especially since it was super windy and the flower was moving a lot.
The settings were 1/125, f/2.0, with an ISO of 100.

This picture really shows emptiness because of the two parachutes left on the weed. I like how the stem and the seeds are the only visible item in the foreground, and that the background is completely blurred. Nice shot.

I really like how my eye goes right to the two stems left on the dandelion. I think this shot is really good. The background being completely out of focus is another great thing. It really makes you pay attention to the subject of the picture.

What I like about this photo is how clear the plant is and how blurry everything else is. The element of composition being used is depth of field. With the foreground in focus and the background out of focus. The lighting and focus is great.

i think this picture turned out really well and you used the rule of thirds really well. i also think that the way you blurred the backround made the picture look professional

I love this picture and how you blurred the background so that the dandilion is in focus. I also like how you took a picture of this with only two of the seeds left on it.

I really like this picture and how you blurred the background and how the dandilion is focused. I also like how you took a picture of this one with only two seed things left on it because it is different from most photos I've seen of dandilions.

This is a really cool looking picture. The depth of field is amazing and it’s great that you used rule of thirds. Good job getting the feel of kinda loneliness. The lighter green of the stem is really eye catching also. Great job!

The reason that I really like this photo is because the small depth of field defiantly draws my eye straight to the dandelion. Along with that, since the dandelion is the only part of this picture that is'nt blurred, it also acts as a center of interest.

I like how this photo only focuses on that one flower and nothing else. It’s a strange shape of a dandilion and it is indeed unique. I wish there was more of a close up of this photo though. I want to see the base of the flower. All I mainly see is the stem..

This picture really simple but it's also really interesting. I know a lot of people take the cliche picture of the dandelion and name it something along the lines of "make a wish" (which is nothing wrong with that!) but i really like how you took that concept and made it something different. The blurred background is perfect and the color tint is very well done. The overall image blends very well together. I LOVE IT(:
